Today we were gutted to hear that one of our favourite local music venues – MK11 was unsuccessful in their application for the Cultural Recovery Fund. This puts them in a very tough spot, having been closed since lockdown. Local venues like this needed this grant to be able to keep themselves afloat during these tough times.

Our guitarist Charlie and Kyle our Bass player have a lot to thank MK11 for. Its was during one of their Open Mic/Jam nights where they first played on stage together. We as a band, feel that local live music venues are so important for nurturing young talent and encouraging musicians of all abilities to get up on stage.

As well as being important to us, it is important to the local community, with lots of charitable events have taken place at MK11. Charities such as Musicians Against Homelessnes and WOSP have held events there.

MK11 is also a sports bar with live football etc and a fantastic food menu.

We would ask you to support their crowdfunder and give as much as you can, so that we can all get back to this amazing venue as soon as possible and secure it’s future beyond the Covid Pandemic.
